Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, I started my aviation career at WestJet as a Flight Attendant in 2000. After flying the line for four years, I transitioned into the role of Inflight Technical Instructor, where my journey through the WestJet organization began. I spent the next several years developing my skills and expanding my expertise working in numerous capacities in the Inflight department as well as the Operations Control Centre.

In 2012, I was seconded to the WestJet Encore team to assist with the launch of the new regional airline for WestJet. During this very busy time, I worked with a small team to develop the cabin safety manuals, training programs and regulatory compliance requirements necessary to attain the airline operating certificate, which included obtaining the Transport Canada Designate for Inflight. I was then appointed the Director, Inflight Services at WestJet Encore and have been working alongside our amazing employees to build our incredible regional airline from the ground up, nurture and instill our caring corporate culture throughout WestJet Encore and promote our WestJet brand.

To date we have a workforce of over 1200, a fleet of 36 beautiful Bombardier Q400 turboprop aircraft, and we safely transport our guests to over 31 WestJet Encore destinations – all in just a few short years! At WestJet Encore, we offer our guests a safe, caring, affordable and remarkable experience, connecting them with our broader WestJet network that represents every major region of the world! My experience at WestJet and WestJet Encore has impacted my life beyond anything I could have imagined and has truly shaped who I am today.
